About this Role:
Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, the HRIS Analyst supports Methanex’s global HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday. This role partners closely with HR and IT to enhance system functionality, support end users, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of global HR data and reporting.
The HRIS Analyst plays an important role in maintaining and continuously improving HR systems, supporting system upgrades and releases, and enabling data-driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Workday system configuration and ongoing support
HR systems troubleshooting and end-user support
Coordinating system upgrades, testing, and releases
Managing data integrity, audits, and mass updates
Developing HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics
Creating end-user training materials and documentation
Collaborating with HR, Global IT, internal stakeholders and external vendors to support system improvements
About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of HR systems experience, with strong exposure to Workday configuration, reporting, and system support. They are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex HR data and processes in a global environment.
Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively, they partner effectively with HR and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into practical system solutions. Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset are key to supporting system adoption across the organization.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Experience with Workday modules, HR analytics, and advanced Excel capabilities are strong assets.
Compensation & Benefits:
This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of CAD $85,000–105,000, along with opportunities for professional development within a global organization. The position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based bonus, RSP, pension plan, employee share purchase plan, paid vacation & PTO, and a generous wellness spending account.
